City Vision Re-opens Nominations for Council in Western Bays Ward

Cr Bruce Hucker has today withdrawn as City Vision candidate in Western Bays. Consequently we are reopening nominations for one Council position.

Although all candidates for Western Bays Community Board have already been selected, we are taking expressions of interest to cover the situation of a vacancy arising if an existing Community Board candidate becomes the Council candidate.

To register your nomination/expression of interest, please email the Campaign Coordinator on gwenshaw@xnet.co.nz with your details and a short cv.

Nominations will close on Friday, 27 July, at noon.

Please note that, by law, all candidates for local body elections must be over 18, registered on the electoral roll and a New Zealand citizen.

The selection will take place on Sunday, 29 July, 1.00pm at Grey Lynn Community Centre. Supporters of City Vision are very welcome. If you live in Western Bays Ward you will be able to vote in the straw poll.
