City Vision Health is the name for the City Vision candidates for Auckland District Health BoardIn 2007, our candidates are Jo Agnew, Roger Eccles, Dr Ian Scott and Bob Tizard. More information on our candidates can be found hereCity Vision Health Policy: 2007• Guarantee free public hospital care. • Fight for adequate funding to meet the health needs of Aucklanders. • Ensure the Health Service is responsive to the community needs. • Improve patient and visitor parking at public hospitals. • Improve the coordination of health services from community level through to specialist care. • Work with Maori and Pacific peoples in developing services appropriate to their needs • Maintain and develop a skilled workforce which is valued as a true partner in an efficient and responsive service • Ensure better provision of services to the mentally ill • Advocate for policies which recognise the special needs of those who are disabled.
