City Vision is Auckland City's centre-left local body political group, representing Labour, Greens, Alliance and community independents.
Our objectives are to: - develop people and community focused policies
- select competent men and women as candidates
- campaign to elect candidates of City Vision (and Labour in Tamaki-Maungakiekie) to Auckland City Council and Community Boards as well as Auckland Regional Council and Auckland District Health Board.
The City Vision organisation thanks all our candidates and supporters for their hard work in the 2007 elections. We appreciate the confidence shown in us by all who voted for City Vision, Labour, Regional People and City Vision Health candidates. Our Councillors are accountable to the community and will work to earn your vote again in 2010. Catherine Farmer was elected for City Vision to Avondale Community Board and Lorraine Wilson to Portage Licensing Trust. Phil Chase, Virginia Chong, Christopher Dempsey and Elinor Harvey were elected for City Vision to Eden Albert Community Board Leigh Kennaway, Bruce Kilmister, Jo Robertson and Kate Stanton were elected for City Vision to Western Bays Community Board Arna Metcalfe, Mike Murray, Christine O'Brien, Kate Sutton and Jan Welch were elected for Labour to Tamaki Community Board Leila Boyle, Jessica Gosche, Mike Murray, Alan Verrall and Jan Welch were elected for Labour to Mt Wellington Licensing Trust Auckland Regional Council
Cr Mike Lee, Regional People, has been re-elected to the Auckland Regional Council
Auckland District Health Board Jo Agnew, Dr Ian Scott and Bob Tizard have been elected for City Vision Health to the Auckland District Health Board
