Puketapapa Local Board

The Puketapapa Local Board area is the southern part of the Albert-Eden-Roskill Ward. Puketapapa Local BoardPuketapapa is made up of the communities of Wesley, Three Kings, New Windsor, White Swan, Hillsborough, Waikowhai, and Lynfield. The area is commonly known as Mt Roskill.

City Vision stands as Roskill Community Voice for the Puketapapa Local Board.  Our elected members will be working to:

  • Secure better resourcing for our communities. Better footpaths, roads, and parks, and upgraded local facilities.
  • Re-vitalise our run-down town centre and support local businesses. We oppose the current plan to remove parking spaces from Dominion Rd.
  • Make Mt Roskill safer. We will invest in better lighting and security where needed, and we will work with community groups to steer our young people away from crime.
  • Take all lawful steps to stop C&R's wasteful and shameful $40 milion demolition of Monte Cecilia School.
  • Give local people a say about whether or not new liquor stores can open in their community, and if so, what the conditions should be. Let's really tackle alcohol related problems in our community.
